We're looking for an experienced Web Designer to join our team and take ownership of our digital platforms. You'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our websites whilst ensuring FCA compliance in all digital communications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop responsive, user-friendly websites
Create wireframes, prototypes and mockups for web projects
Implement HTML, CSS and JavaScript for front-end development
Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility
Maintain website security and performance standards
Design email templates and digital marketing materials
Conduct user experience testing and implement improvements
Create graphics and visual content for web platforms
Implement SEO best practices in all designs
Ensure FCA compliance in all digital communications
Develop conversion-optimised landing pages
Analyse website metrics and user behaviour
Support digital marketing campaigns
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in web design and development
Portfolio demonstrating responsive web design projects
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
Understanding of UX/UI principles
Knowledge of web accessibility standards
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Desirable
Experience in the financial services sector
Knowledge of FCA regulations
Digital marketing experience
Understanding of insurance industry
Experience with CMS platforms
