Job Description

KeyIT Tech seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer & Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients and enhance their online presence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise a broad range of digital design skills, including UX, UI, interaction design, and front-end development, within a collaborative environment. The successful applicant will play a key part in shaping our digital footprint through engaging and responsive web solutions responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap. Design website layouts, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, and InVision to illustrate concepts effectively.

Integrate front-end code with back-end systems such as PHP, Python, MySQL, SQL databases, Drupal, WordPress

Create user-friendly and responsive designs for all devices, Improve user experience (UX) and user interface (UI)

Ensure consistency with branding and design standards and Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and best practices in UX/UI design.

Maintain existing websites through regular updates, optimisation for SEO using Google Analytics and other tools, and website maintenance tasks.

Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve website functionality.

Develop and maintain websites using coding languages, Integrate databases, APIs, and third-party services

Ensure website performance, speed, and security. Test and debug website issues

Maintain and update website content and features

Collaborate with clients or teams to meet project goals

Required Skills

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and frameworks like React/Vue/Angular) Python, PHP,

Databases (SQL/NoSQL)

Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop), UI/UX principles

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualification:

Degrees: Computer Science, Digital Media, Software Engineering, Web Design & Development.

Good to have:

Developer background preferred

C# and Visual Basic
