(Main Duties and Responsibilities):



Design visually appealing, responsive websites and landing pages optimized for user experience and conversions. Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate concepts into fully functional web designs. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to guide site structure and layout. Ensure consistent branding and design language across all digital assets. Optimize web pages for speed, performance, SEO, and accessibility. Stay current on web design trends, tools, and best practices. Maintain and update existing websites based on feedback, analytics, or business changes. Create graphics, banners, and UI elements as needed for the web and digital platforms.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]



Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field. Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as a Software Testing Consultant or similar role. Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role with a strong online portfolio. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript (for design collaboration, not coding). Experience designing for responsive, mobile-first web experiences. Familiarity with web performance optimization and SEO-friendly design. Basic understanding of CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or Drupal. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Foundation for building responsive layouts quickly and effectively. Familiarity with UX research and A/B testing tools. Ability to follow UI/UX design principles, create user flows, wireframes, and design systems, while considering usability, accessibility (WCAG), and conversion goals. Experience optimizing website performance using tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse. Comfortable using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for version control and collaborative development. Knowledge of web analytics and behavior tracking tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Microsoft Clarity is a plus. Relevant software testing certifications like Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB Agile Tester Certification or Certified associate in software Testing (CAST) is preferable.
