About The Role




We're looking for a talented Mid-Weight Website Designer to join our growing digital team in Manchester. You'll play a key role in designing visually engaging, user-centred websites that deliver excellent digital experiences across multiple platforms. Working in a hybrid setup, you'll collaborate closely with developers, product, and marketing specialists to bring creative ideas to life.



Key Responsibilities


Design and deliver responsive websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces with strong attention to detail and usability.
Translate brand identities into clean, cohesive digital designs that engage and convert. Collaborate with UX/UI specialists, developers, and clients to refine briefs and user journeys. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mock-ups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Optimise designs for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Stay up-to-date with current design trends, technologies, and UX best practices. Contribute creative ideas

About You





Skills & Experience Essential:


3+ years' experience in website or digital design, ideally in an agency or fast-paced in-house environment. Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design and UI work. Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, XD, or similar). Understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG). Experience collaborating with front-end developers and familiarity with HTML/CSS principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable:


Understanding of SEO and performance optimisation from a design perspective. Experience in design of car dealership websites
