Job Overview


We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and front-end development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and user experience. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity and meet client needs. Your expertise in various design tools and technologies will be essential in delivering high-quality web solutions.

Duties



Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to illustrate design concepts using tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, and Figma. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience through interaction design and usability testing. Maintain website content using content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint. Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility on search engines. Conduct user research and data analysis to inform design decisions. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of websites. Manage website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Utilise graphic design skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for creating visual assets. Work collaboratively with developers to integrate front-end designs with back-end technologies such as Angular, React, Node.js, or Python.

Experience


The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

Proficiency in digital design principles and graphic design software (Adobe XD, Adobe After Effects). Strong understanding of front-end development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Bootstrap, SCSS, and Less. Familiarity with version control systems like Git for collaborative projects. Experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics to track website performance. Knowledge of email marketing platforms like Mailchimp is advantageous. Understanding of information architecture and usability principles is essential. Experience with frameworks such as Redux or Telerik is a plus.
