Reporting to the Venue Sales Manager, the Wedding and Accommodation Sales Manager will be responsible for helping to grow both wedding bookings and accommodation sales by showcasing excellent customer service, team skills and leadership. The position will involve working closely with the rest of the Management Team and our onsite catering partner (VCEL) to ensure that each couple's wedding day wishes become a reality!
The successful candidate will need to be extremely hard working, highly organised with good communication skills and a personable and friendly outlook. The postholder will also need to showcase a positive attitude with infectious enthusiasm for weddings. Previous experience working in a wedding sales environment is essential, as is having experience in line-management.
Responsibilities will include;
Overseeing and conducting showrounds to ensure targets are met
Convert leads to bookings by showcasing excellent customer service and sales skills
Managing the Sales Diary, to ensure we are maximising opportunity
Ensuring all sales admin is completed in full, including accommodation bookings
Organise and attend promotional and booked couple events
Reviewing monthly reports and distributing monthly sales summary with the Venue Sales Manager
Working with our Sales and Marketing team to ensure all marketing materials, including the website, are kept up to date
Daily focus on proactively running the wedding sales office with enthusiasm and efficiency
Responsible for main inbox and phone line
Manage the Sales Coordinator to ensure they feel supported and are able to maximise sales
Working with the wider team to actively to ensure marketing tasks are executed
Upselling the accommodation packages
Liaising with couples and their guests to discuss room bookings, requirements and ensure payments are made
Working with the Accommodation Manager to finalise rooming lists for each stay
Ensure good communication with couples and suppliers to gain photographs, post-event
Working with the Management team to ensure the barn is wedding ready each day
Ensuring the barn is fully set up and dressed for showrounds
Working with Venue Catering and Events to ensure all couples have the wedding day of their dreams
Support the wider business with car parking, breakfast or accommodation duties, where required
Deputise for the Venue Sales Manager, where required
This role is a full-time permanent position and the normal working hours include weekends. The successful candidate would be working as part of a friendly yet small team so full flexibility with working hours, especially during our peak season is required.
