Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Organiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for event planning and management, with the ability to coordinate various aspects of events from conception to execution. This role requires excellent organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that all requirements are met. Develop event concepts, themes, and budgets while managing all logistical aspects such as venue selection, catering, and entertainment. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials for events. Oversee on-site event management to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements. Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and invoices.

Experience

Proven experience in event planning or management is preferred but not essential; relevant internships will be considered. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for building relationships with clients and vendors. Creative thinking with attention to detail is crucial for developing unique event concepts. Proficient in using event management software and tools is advantageous. Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed to accommodate events.
