We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and event management, with a flair for creativity and exceptional organisational skills. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of wedding events, ensuring that each couple's vision is brought to life seamlessly and memorably.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding day.
Develop comprehensive wedding plans that include timelines, vendor selections, and budget management.
Coordinate with various vendors such as florists, caterers, photographers, and venues to ensure all elements are in place for the event.
Manage logistics on the wedding day, including setup, coordination of the ceremony and reception, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Provide exceptional guest services to ensure all attendees have a positive experience.
Upsell additional services or products that may enhance the wedding experience for clients.
Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the planning process to keep them informed and engaged.
Assist in fundraising activities if required for specific weddings or events.
Experience
Proven experience in hospitality or event planning within hotels or restaurants is highly desirable.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients and vendors.
A background in guest services is beneficial to enhance client interactions.
Demonstrated organisational abilities to manage various aspects of wedding planning efficiently.
