Summary

As a Care Assistant at Alandale Residential Home, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your contributions will help create a nurturing atmosphere that enhances the well-being and comfort of our clients, making a positive impact on their daily lives.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Participate in organizing and facilitating engaging activities for residents. Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Requirements

Experience in a care assistant role or similar position is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and their families. Understanding of home care practices and principles related to residential care. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic IT skills are beneficial but not essential.
