We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef who is interested in building up a sports grounds kitchen with a new and improved food offering.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in the presentation of dishes to ensure they meet aesthetic standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment.
A passion for creating new dishes.
This position will also have the opportunity to create a new menu with the manager & start a whole new food approach for the business.
At present we would be looking for food to be from 9am - 8pm SATURDAYS and 9am - 6pm SUNDAYS - to tie in with our football season guests.
More days & timings to be discussed.
Own travel needed or good links for buses.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-14.21 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
