Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Assist in food preparation and presentation while adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfilment. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience for guests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary basics is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere. A passion for providing outstanding guest services that create lasting impressions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 8.50-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
