Funtivity Play Village is a children's role play and sensory space for babies in Leighton Buzzard. Our village houses different role play rooms such as a Supermarket and Doctors Surgery for children to explore and learn through play along with a dedicated area for babies from birth until they are ready to explore our role play rooms.

Our village allows parents to get involved and play within our role play areas but also allows parents a clear view of the centre so they can sit and have a relaxing coffee while their children play.

Our role play assistant is a fundamental role within the village. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of customer service and ensuring a safe environment for children to play and learn. At times our village can be busy and are role play assistants will be required to multi task while remaining calm under pressure. We want our a village to be a fun, relaxed place to work and for people to visit and therefore a good sense of humour and a friendly smile are key.

Job Information

Hours : Casual basis(0 Hour contract) roughly 3 -15 hours per week will vary due to high/low seasons

Weekend availability required. Additional hours during weekdays on school holidays may be available. We are not looking for any term time weekday availability at this time.

Salary : Pay minimum wage

Start date : ASAP

Some of the key duties are;

Booking customers in and out of the village

Taking customers orders in our cafe

Preparing hot drinks and basic meals following all food hygiene standards

Answering customer phone queries

Dealing with customer inquires about our village and parties

Help run/support children's Birthday parties, interacting with children and parents to ensure all runs smoothly.

Ensure a clean and tidy environment within the village and cafe

Help create a fun, exciting & safe environment so every guest leaves wanting to return

Qualities

- Ability to use initiative

- Must be confident in talking and interacting with customers

- Previous Barista experience beneficial but not essential

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 6.40-12.21 per hour
