We're looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team at Moss & Maple Play Cafe -- a cosy, woodland-themed play space for little ones and their grown-ups.
Your role will include:
Welcoming families with a friendly, positive attitude
Preparing and serving drinks, snacks and light food
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the cafe and play areas
Supporting play sessions and ensuring the space remains safe and inviting
Handling bookings, payments and customer queries confidently
Being able to open and close the cafe independently, without supervision
Restocking and keeping the space well-organised
Showing a genuine interest in being part of growing the business -- bringing ideas, taking initiative, and supporting the Moss & Maple vision
We're looking for someone who:
Is dependable, friendly and great with both children and adults
Has
experience working in a cafe and handling food orders
Can use their initiative and stay calm during busy periods
Works well as part of a small, supportive team
Is happy to learn and adapt as the business grows
Takes pride in giving families a memorable, positive experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
Work Location: In person
