Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Weekend Staff to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and providing excellent guest services in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a Weekend Staff member, you will assist in various kitchen and front-of-house duties, ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, following all food safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Support the culinary team during busy periods, helping with cooking, plating, and serving as needed.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience for guests.
- Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to varying shift patterns as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
