Job Description

Are you a multi-tasker who works well in a pressurised environment, has great attention to detail whilst being professional, and can remain calm and organised?

If so, come and join our team as a Weighbridge Administrator at Lelo Metals, Corwen, Denbighshire.

You will be responsible for the smooth running and day to day operation of the Weighbridge.

You will have excellent customer service, greet customers / hauliers arriving on site to deliver or collect materials, check paperwork and produce accurate weighbridge tickets for every load, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, have proven admin and computer skills, and be able to multitask whilst remaining calm.

In addition to the Weighbridge operation, the role will also have additional responsibilities to create, maintain and update management reports which deliver timely and accurate information.

Responsibilities



Identify the customer's account and material, ensure that the correct details (e.g. vehicle registration, product, haulier etc) are recorded. Greet and educate all visitors and drivers in relation to the site rules, and ensure they are wearing the correct PPE. Produce accurate weighbridge tickets for every load leaving or entering the site.

Requirements


You must :

have a good eye for detail - with an investigative mind to resolve queries be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards and remaining calm. be friendly but confident in dealing with a wide range of customers and drivers have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn have excellent administrative, communication, and computer skills be organised and punctual be able to multitask and prioritise as necessary be flexible while staying focused on what needs to be done
Experience/knowledge of how a weighbridge works is ideal but not essential, but if you can bring the right qualities and are the right person for the role, we can provide full training.

Answer incoming calls, deal with customer enquiries and queries, and provide excellent customer service Liaise closely with transport. Generate basic monthly reports and statements Help to maintain the internal FRED5 system to ensure records are accurate, timely and recorded. Undertake general admin duties - filing, emails, data input, update spreadsheets Liaise with the accounts team and sales support to ensure accurate month-end processes. Ensure that documentation is processed accurately and compliant to the industry and company standards. Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
