The Role

We are seeking a professional and reliable Weighbridge Operator to provide maternity cover at our Wick Quarry site. The role ensures the accurate operation of the weighbridge, supports site compliance with waste regulations, and provides administrative support to the operations team.

Key duties include:

Operating the weighbridge to record vehicle movements and material weights Managing waste acceptance and compliance in line with relevant legislation Accurately inputting data into Weighsoft and maintaining digital records Liaising with drivers and providing clear site instructions Administering site documentation and supporting compliance requirements Producing reports and data analysis from the Weighsoft system Supporting the wider team with general site admin tasks Ensuring records, permits and regulatory documents are current and accurate

Who you are

You are organised, detail-focused, and confident working with systems and people. Ideally, you have experience operating a weighbridge and are comfortable using software like Weighsoft. Your communication skills and ability to work independently will be key to success in this role.

Key Skills

Experience operating a weighbridge (essential) Accurate data entry and attention to detail Proficient in Weighsoft and Microsoft Office Strong organisational and time management skills Good understanding of waste acceptance legislation (desirable) Clear and professional communication
