About the Role:

We are looking for an organised and reliable Weighbridge Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the accurate weighing of vehicles, enforcing site rules, and ensuring effective communication between the weighbridge and yard teams.

This is a shared role, with overall weighbridge responsibilities split between two operatives to ensure consistency, coverage, and smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh vehicles in and out of the site

Enforce site rules before customers enter the site

Carry out visitor inductions to ensure compliance and safety

Raise and process Waste Transfer Notes (WTNs) and other paperwork

Maintain a clear and professional line of communication between the weighbridge and yard

Handle customer enquiries in person and over the phone

Book skip collections and deliveries

Ensure site compliance with environmental and operational procedures

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a weighbridge or similar customer-facing logistics/admin role is desirable

Strong organisational and communication skills

Confidence in using basic computer systems and paperwork processes

Calm and professional approach to working under pressure

A proactive, team-oriented attitude

Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance
