Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work effectively with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components to meet specific requirements.

Duties

Weld and assemble metal components using various welding techniques, including stick welding. Fabricate parts and structures according to engineering specifications and drawings. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and solve any issues that may arise during fabrication.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools relevant to the welding trade. A commitment to continuous improvement and learning new techniques within the field of welding is highly valued.
