Reports to:

Weld Team Leader

Role Overview:

Based at our Lurgan site, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products are produced to the highest standards, meeting the required safety and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that it is adhered to at all times. Responsible for carrying out all types of MIG welding to high standards using engineering drawings and jig arrangements. Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard. Working to tight deadlines Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production

Associated Responsibilities:

Support of all operations related activities as required particularly during periods of unplanned absence, holidays, and high workloads.

Experience and Training:

Proven experience as welder Experience in using electrical or manual tools for example saws, squares, calipers. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing. Deftness and attention to detail

Must have worked in a busy, high output manufacturing environment. Must have Welding experience Must be able to work shifts
