Vantrunk an internationally renowned manufacturer of engineered cable management products and associated support systems for over 50 years. We have established ourselves as a leader in the development of proven and innovative cable management solutions engineered to thrive in extreme environments we are currently looking for a Welder. On both our day and late shift

Working in our Production team you will be responsible for manufacturing a range of standard and non-standard products to drawing, on time and to a high standard of work and have the ability to work under minimal supervision and to deadlines.

Hours of work Monday to Wednesday 16.00 to 02.30 Thursday 16.00 to 01.30

General duties:

Setting up the components and equipment for the welding process as per Job Card. Preparing materials and setting up jigs to ensure safe and effective assembly. Interpreting specifications and drawings accurately, to ensure product is within specification and within tolerance. MIG welding Mild and Stainless Steel Housekeeping - Clean As You Go Working knowledge of 5's (would be advantages but not essential)
Key Skills:

Ability to read drawings. Be a quick learner and have a positive attitude to work, colleagues and management at all time. Dexterity and practical skills, along with being a clear, logical thinker. Be computer literate and proficient with IT systems within a manufacturing environment. An individual who is highly motivated and energetic. Ability to communicate well at all levels. The ability to keep track of key information - attention to detail is essential. Tenacity to seek out information and correct answers.
