We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and welding light metal components to create high-quality products that meet our specifications. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform basic maths for precise measurements.
Responsibilities
Assemble and fabricate metal structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding, to ensure strong and durable joints.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process.
Conduct inspections of welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of sheet metal work.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade.
Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
