Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to fabricate and assemble components to meet precise specifications. As a Welder, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Duties

Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques on sheet metal and other materials. Fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Assemble parts and structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
