We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Weld and fabricate components using various welding techniques Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and modify metal parts. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet specifications and standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality workmanship. A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
