Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with expertise in various welding techniques including TIG/MIG/MAG welding. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal to produce high-quality components for our projects.

Duties

Perform TIG welding and other welding processes to fabricate metal components as per specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of products. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring all components fit correctly and function as intended.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with TIG/MIG/MAG welding techniques. Proficiency in working with sheet metal and using various hand and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in assembly processes is advantageous but not essential.
