Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of metal components and assemblies, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal.

Role Overview:

As a Welder / Fabricator at Impress Group, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing components with the utmost precision. You will work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components. The role requires close collaboration with our production and engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines Working with various sections, plate, laser cut and machined components 1-30+ mm thick Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment

Skills & Qualifications:

Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting. Demonstrated experience with variety of metals including stainless steel and aluminium. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good communication skills to support collaboration within production
