Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various welding techniques, including Mig & Tig welding and sheet metal fabrication. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding and sheet metal fabrication. Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding with proficiency in Mig & Tig welding and sheet metal techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in welding processes. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
