About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled

Welder/Assembler / Installer

to join our growing team, specialising in the assembly and installation of bespoke conveyor systems. Based primarily at our headquarters near

Kirkby-in-Ashfield

, you will also be required to travel occasionally to customer sites across the UK for installations.

This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with a background in mechanical assembly, engineering, or fabrication, and who are confident using hand-held power tools such as drills and impact drivers. You will follow simple engineering drawings to assemble high-quality conveyor systems, both in-house and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble conveyor systems

to specification using mechanical drawings and power tools

Welding and fabrication

of components as required Work accurately and safely, maintaining high standards of workmanship Perform

manual handling

tasks including lifting and positioning of materials Assist with

on-site installations

, including occasional overnight stays Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Liaise with the engineering and project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of systems

Requirements

Essential:

Previous experience in mechanical assembly, welding, or a similar environment Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings Proficient in the use of hand and power tools Physically fit with good manual dexterity and handling skills Flexible and willing to travel and occasionally stay away from home Strong team player with a positive work ethic

Desirable:

Qualification in engineering or mechanical discipline Experience in conveyor system assembly

Full UK driving licence
