A weld test will be part of the interview.

Duties:

Operate hand tools and power tools to fabricate components as per specifications. Perform welding tasks, including mig welding. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Driving company vehicles where required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with hot rolled steel. Proficiently in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand drawings. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. A valid welding certificate is essential.
