to support quality assurance and control activities on an active industrial installation project for process piping and building services (HVAC). The successful candidate will ensure all welding and fabrication works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards.
This role involves close coordination with engineers, site management, and fabrication teams to maintain quality compliance, redline drawings to reflect as-built conditions, and keep accurate documentation throughout all stages of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and inspect welding operations to ensure compliance with WPS and project requirements.
Review welder qualifications, material certification, and consumable traceability.
Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) as required.
Redline drawings
and documentation to capture any on-site modifications or deviations.
Maintain QA/QC records, reports, and traceability documentation.
Liaise with engineers, clients, and third-party inspectors on quality-related matters.
Support the site team in identifying and resolving welding or quality issues.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a
Welding QA/QC
or
Inspection
role within industrial or process piping projects.
CSWIP
and/or
PCN
certification desirable but not essential.
Strong technical understanding of welding processes, procedures, and materials.
Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (ASME, EN, ISO, etc.).
Ability to read, interpret, and redline technical drawings accurately.
Excellent attention to detail, record-keeping, and communication skills.
Rate:
Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
