About the Role

As a Wellbeing Advisor in the Adult Contact Team, you'll be at the frontline of adult social care and occupational therapy referrals for Rotherham residents. You'll often be the first point of contact, offering timely advice, information, and guidance to customers, carers, and professionals.
This dynamic role involves:
Handling enquiries via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face.
Collaborating with colleagues and external partners such as the NHS and Police.
Supporting individuals with requests for Care Act assessments, occupational therapy, safeguarding concerns, carers assessments, and general advice.
Promoting independence through early intervention, short-term support, and assistive technology referrals.
You'll be part of a supportive, motivated team that values learning and partnership working. Full induction, ongoing training, regular supervision, and team meetings are provided.
Working hours on a rota basis are between- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.
The work pattern for this role will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
About You

Has experience working with vulnerable adults.
Can manage a busy workload independently and respond to unexpected situations with initiative.
Is compassionate and committed to making a difference.
Communicates clearly and accurately, even when dealing with complex or sensitive information.
Can negotiate tactfully and handle potential conflict professionally.
