We have an opportunity for you. The Wellbeing Officer plays a key role in ensuring that our services provide appropriate support to residents in their own community.



We are currently recruiting a Wellbeing Officer for the Neighbourhoods & Wellbeing Service, to provide comprehensive support including individual, face-to-face casework across low levels of health, social care and personal issues. The post will be part of a team who support the communities of Doncaster to be strong, active and resilient. We work in partnership to build on a community's and individual's strengths and assets, improving quality of life and wellbeing and helping people to remain independent and in their own homes and communities for longer. You will work within an inspiring team of locally based staff, delivering an all-age service in community engagement, capacity building, community cohesion along with local and national programmes such as Stronger Families, Wellbeing and Community Led Support.



We are looking for a positive, proactive and flexible person who is hardworking and conscientious with an energy to support people and think creatively. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, with excellent communication and relationship skills and the ability to communicate sensitive information in an appropriate way. You should also be confident, non-judgemental and resilient. Professional and/or personal experience and understanding of health, care and community are essential elements within this role.
