We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated
Wholesale Manager
to lead our wholesale operations in the
gift and souvenir industry
. The ideal candidate must have a
proven track record in product sourcing, identification of market trends, and international procurement
, with a strong network of overseas suppliers and manufacturers. This role involves overseeing wholesale strategy, managing key accounts, expanding distribution channels, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of high-demand and trending items.
Key Responsibilities:
Wholesale Strategy & Management
Develop and implement effective wholesale strategies to meet sales targets.
Build and maintain relationships with wholesale clients, distributors, and B2B partners.
Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Product Identification & Development
Research and identify trending, seasonal, and regionally relevant gift and souvenir products.
Collaborate with the product development team to create exclusive lines for wholesale distribution.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to optimize product offerings.
Overseas Purchasing & Vendor Management
Source new suppliers and negotiate contracts for quality products at competitive prices.
Manage end-to-end international procurement processes including sampling, production timelines, quality control, and logistics.
Travel as needed for trade shows, factory inspections, and vendor meetings.
Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with finance to manage budgets and achieve margin goals.
Optimize purchasing to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise wholesale and procurement staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Coordinate with marketing, retail, and logistics teams for cohesive brand and sales execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum
2 years of experience in wholesale management
within the
gifts, souvenirs, or lifestyle products
sector.
Strong background in
product identification, sourcing, and overseas purchasing
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Office, inventory software, and CRM platforms.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Established network of vendors and manufacturers in the souvenir/gift industry.
Experience with private labeling and OEM product development.
Familiarity with international trade regulations and import/export compliance.
