Denham Springs Farm is a family-run dairy farm with over 65 years of experience in producing and bottling high-quality milk in the Chorley area. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and a reliable service.

Summary

We are looking for a hardworking full- time delivery driver to join our team at Denham Springs Dairy. The role is 40 hours over 5 days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday then a Tuesday rota (working 1 in 4) with a 6.30.am start each day.

In this role, you will be working mostly on your own to load a van with crates of milk (weighing approx 20kg), driving to our wholesale customers fridges within a 20 mile radius of our dairy near Chorley then unloading and checking their order using a delivery note. This can be upto 40 crates of milk per order. The driver will then reload the van with crates of empty bottles before driving to the next customers fridge and delivering their order. Once all the milk has been delivered, the driver will then return to our dairy to reload the van with the next customers milk and setting off to deliver it.

This role is physically demanding so candidates will need to be someone who is fit, active and happy to work in all weathers.

The driver will be responsible for delivering our milk to customers, ensuring timely and safe transportation while maintaining our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport milk products to customers. Load and unload crates of milk (approximately 20 kilos) from our dairy near Chorley then checking and delivering orders to our customers.

Requirements

Be reliable and punctual Aged 25 or over with a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently Own transport to our dairy as we are not on a bus route
