Berenjak Mayfair - New Opening
Berenjak Mayfair will be the brand's flagship new opening located at 80 Duke Street, a moment's walk from Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair. The design direction is inspired by Grandad's villa in the North of Iran; a space that feels homey and relaxed but also elegant and mature whilst the service style focuses on genuine, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
Guests can expect a mix of classic Berenjak classic Mazeh, Kababs and Khoresht with the addition of new elevated diverse regional Persian dishes. The beverage offering will draw a new focus to premium drinks options exclusively curated for the Duke Street location including new signature cocktails and an expanded wine selection.
The Successful Wine Manager will have:
Proven experience in wine management within a premium or fine dining environment.
Strong knowledge of wines, producers, and regions; WSET Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
Confident communicator with a guest-focused, hands-on approach.
Proven leadership, training, and team development skills.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Experience managing suppliers, stock control, and GP targets.
Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within an award-winning restaurant group.
As Wine Manager, you will be responsible for:
Maintain and develop the wine list, manage suppliers, tastings, and implement updates for vintages, pricing, and new listings.
Deliver professional wine recommendations, anticipate guest needs, and support private dining and events.
Oversee stock, cellar organisation, ordering, inventory accuracy, and monitor costs, margins, and GP performance.
Lead wine training, WSET development, and foster team knowledge, confidence, and professionalism.
Ensure readiness for service, support beverage operations, and uphold SOPs.
Maintain compliance with food safety, licensing, and health and safety standards.
