Work Placement Co-Ordinator

to join our dedicated team at DN Colleges Group.


In this rewarding role, you'll play a key part in helping students access high-quality work placements that enhance their learning and career prospects. You'll work closely with curriculum teams, employers, and students to ensure placements are safe, meaningful, and well-supported.

Actual Salary: 22,308.10 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday (8:30am - 5:00pm) Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm) / 35.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year

Key Responsibilities

Organise and develop new and existing work placements across curriculum areas. Carry out Health & Safety assessments and support safeguarding in placement settings. Brief students and staff on the placement process and expectations. Maintain accurate records and employer databases. Monitor placement progress and resolve any issues that arise.

Essential Criteria

A relevant qualification and strong IT skills (Word, Excel). Experience working with 14-19-year-olds and within the education sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and planning abilities. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Let's Teach The LET's teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
