Join techUK's Digital Ethics and AI Assurance team for an exciting week where you'll witness firsthand how industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators collaborate to build and operationalise ethical frameworks for emerging technologies. You'll contribute to real initiatives that influence how AI is developed, deployed, and governed across the UK's thriving tech ecosystem.

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and organised intern to join our Tech and Innovation team for a 1-week work shadow placement opportunity, directly supporting our programming in Digital Ethics and AI Safety. This role offers the chance to work on impactful programmes that contribute to demystifying and operationalising digital ethics through AI assurance and standards. You will assist with research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, gaining valuable experience in a professional work environment.

Strategic Business Intelligence

Gain insider access to techUK's operational strategy through participation in leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and cross-departmental collaborations. Understand how a leading trade association influences policy, drives industry standards, and builds consensus around responsible technology adoption.

Business Development & Market Analysis

Master the art of value proposition development by creating compelling membership pitches for leading AI and technology companies. Learn sophisticated prospecting techniques while building a comprehensive 2025 pipeline of high-value prospects, analysing company financials, market positioning, and strategic priorities of key players in the AI assurance space.

Data-Driven Growth Strategy

Conduct in-depth market research on the UK's AI assurance landscape, analysing company headcounts, revenue trends, and competitive positioning to identify strategic membership opportunities.
