What's the role?



This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating voids and responsive repair works across our housing stock.


You'll lead and support a team of operatives and contractors to ensure repairs and void refurbishments are completed safely, to a high standard, and within agreed timescales.


You'll play a key part in monitoring quality, driving first-time fix rates, and resolving any day-to-day issues that arise on site.


Collaboration with colleagues, residents, and external partners will be essential in this fast-paced, resident-focused role.

What we're looking for



You'll be organised, practical, and proactive in managing repairs and void processes. Experience supervising repairs or voids in social housing is essential, with a clear understanding of health and safety and compliance. You'll have great people skills able to build strong relationships with operatives, residents, and contractors. A proven track record of delivering works on time and to a high standard. Strong IT and record-keeping skills are important. You'll have a commitment to excellent customer service and continuous improvement.

Location



The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.


Special conditions



Relevant trade or supervisory qualification is required (HNC

or

equivalent qualification

or

experience. Level 2 diploma

or

equivalent e.g. NVQ in a maintenance trade) Some out-of-hours and weekend working may occasionally be required The job is subject to an Basic DBS check

Salary



52,269-54,360 per annum (PO4)


N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
