As a Workday Data Analyst, you will take on a vital role in our Digital HR team by leveraging your expertise in Workday\'s HCM system. Your primary objective will be to manage, analyse, and extract actionable insights from HR data within the Workday platform. Through your proficient use of Workday reporting and data analysis tools, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making, process optimisation, and overall HR strategy alignment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage Workday reporting tools to gather and manipulate HR data, conducting comprehensive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Generate regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualisations to enable HR leaders to communicate key HR metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Custom Report Development: Develop and design custom reports and dashboards tailored to specific business needs using Workday reporting functionalities. Translate complex data findings into easily digestible formats for diverse audiences.
  • Data Insights: Collaborate closely with HR leaders to translate data into actionable insights that guide strategic HR decisions, support talent management initiatives, and enhance workforce planning efforts.
  • Data Accuracy and Compliance: Implement data quality checks within Workday to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Regularly audit data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement within Workday operations. Leveraging your Workday expertise and stakeholder management skills, partner with the IT Business Solutions team to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, International Mobility, Payroll, Central Operations, and other relevant teams to provide Workday-related support and insights for their projects.
  • User Training and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday, offering guidance, training, and support to colleagues on Workday functionalities and reporting capabilities.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest developments and enhancements in Workday, and partner with the Head of Digital HR to proactively explore opportunities to integrate new features into Wood Mackenzie HR to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Workday Data Management: Use your in-depth knowledge of Workday to support the People Services team maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data, advising on issues related to employee information, compensation details, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and more.
Qualifications
  • Will have attained a Bachelor\'s degree Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent in-role experience
  • Can demonstrate expertise in utilising Workday\'s HCM system, including report building, end to end compensation review process management, data extraction, and analysis.
  • Proficient in developing custom reports using Workday reporting tools.
  • Ability to translate complex data sets using statistical techniques and data visualisation tools making engaging and captivating insights
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Have the effective collaboration skills required to work across HR teams and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
  • Consistently show strong critical thinking skills to identify challenges and provide innovative solutions based on data analysis.
  • Hold a strong and current understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
  • Are committed to handling sensitive data with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times when handling sensitive information

Additional Information
  • We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
  • While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
