About The Role:





Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday between 07:00-19:00 - Variable around preference.





The Workforce Planner is a new role within the Merlin Attractions contract. The Merlin contract comprises of a multiple venues, Alton Towers, Sea Life Birmingham, Cadbury World, Warwick Castle, Chessington World of Adventure, Thorpe Park, Legoland Windsor, London Eye, London Dungeons, Shrek Adventure, Madam Tussauds. OCS provide soft and hard services to these venues.






With around 500 colleagues, not including seasonal workers assigned to the contract, The Workforce Planners will proactively schedule colleagues across the Merlin contract.




Main duties & responsibilities of the role:



Upload rotas to Timegate in time to ensure all days are scheduled effectively with the correct people in the correct roles. To communicate and engage with staff booked for work. To work as Timegate Champions in the business to support staff, supervisors, and managers to get the best out of the system and encourage development of it. Ensure all OCS processes are adhered to including, clock compliance, arbitrations, and payroll readiness. Manage the use of agency across the contract - booking and arbitrating any when used. Maintain colleague database with correct contact details, qualifications, training, and licensing information. Support with any other administrative functions in relation to people and scheduling. Work closely with the contract management team in matters relating to recruitment, licensing, vetting & training, including recruitment of seasonals. To reduce agency usage and spend by intelligently scheduling Achieving SLA's in responding to client, colleague, peer and staff queries.

What are we looking for?


Right to work in the UK Experience in administration is essential- preferably people/recruitment/HR related. Strong customer service skills Experience of Scheduling & Workforce Planning is desirable Experience in the use of Time and Attendance systems is desirable. Knowledge or experience in facilities management and/or events is desirable Ability to use own initiative but also work as part of a team
