We are seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to join a Human Resources team in the Public Sector in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workforce planning activities to ensure efficient resource allocation and operational effectiveness.

• Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to align with organisational goals.
• Analyse workforce data to identify trends and inform future planning decisions.
• Provide forecasts and reports on staffing needs and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure effective workforce utilisation.
• Identify potential workforce challenges and propose solutions to address them.
• Support recruitment strategies by identifying gaps and future needs.
• Build Power BI dashboards and automated reporting
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to workforce management.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning initiatives.

A successful Workforce Planning Manager based in London should have:

• Proven experience within strategic workforce planning or Human Resources.
• Advanced Excel, (pivot tables, complex formulas, automation).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of workforce planning tools and methodologies.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with Public Sector processes and requirements.
