The Role

We're seeking a highly experienced

Working Foreman

with a strong background in

bricklaying

to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is a

hybrid role

--you will spend around

50% of your time on the tools

, primarily bricklaying, while also taking on

site management responsibilities

. You will oversee day-to-day operations on one or more residential projects, ensuring work progresses smoothly, safely, and to a high standard. On smaller jobs, you may manage the project directly while remaining hands-on. On larger jobs or during quieter bricklaying periods, your role will shift more towards supervision, coordination, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out bricklaying and general site tasks as required. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour. Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed to spec. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and management as needed. Maintain site health & safety and ensure compliance. Monitor programme, report progress, and help solve issues as they arise. Take responsibility for 1-2 projects concurrently, depending on size of projects

Requirements

Experience working on domestic renovation/extension jobs. Comfortable being hands-on while also managing people and tasks. Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs. Full UK driving licence.
