Job Overview

We are seeking a

hands-on Working Foreman

to join our team delivering high-quality flat refurbishments across Central London. This role involves supervising daily site operations across several nearby projects, assigning tasks to trades, checking workmanship, and jumping on the tools when required.

The ideal candidate will have a background in

carpentry or joinery

, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead small teams on high-specification residential projects. You'll be key to maintaining quality, safety, and pace across our sites.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across multiple refurbishment projects Lead and motivate operatives and subcontractors on-site Assign tasks, offer guidance, and demonstrate where needed Carry out minor works (particularly joinery or general finishing) Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure attention to detail Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised sites Coordinate with the project manager to report progress and flag issues early Accept deliveries and manage materials where required Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or working foreman role Background in carpentry, joinery, or multi-trade works Comfortable both managing teams and working on the tools Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes Able to read and interpret basic drawings Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, reliable, and organised CSCS card preferred; SSSTS or first aid beneficial

Speaking Albanian is helpful

due to some trade teams on site
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22.00-28.50 per hour
