Job Summary:

Working Site Foreman who will undertake a combination of site management and general building duties to co-ordinate and complete Refurbishment and Fit-out projects to a high standard. (Working foreman only)

We specialize in commercial fit out projects covering, retail, food & beverage, education, hotel and hospitality sectors. We are hands on, trustworthy and reliable. The Role:

We are looking for a fully qualified experienced tradesman (Carpentry preferable but open to other trades). Someone who can work on site as part of the team, however, can be depended on to manage sizable projects when and as expected of a foreman. We require someone who is adaptable, able to balance their time between managing/operating projects whilst working on the tools. We require someone logical, hands-on, practical, who strives to overcome site-based problems.

The Candidate:

o Fully qualified and experienced trade background (Carpentry desirable but not essential)

o Strong Man Management with the ability to work as part of a team.

o Hands on - Practical - Logical Thinker - Problem Solver.

o Supplies own tools.

o Ability to set out, read drawings, foresee potential site-based issues and offer solutions.

o Experience in the commercial sector (Desirable but not essential).

o Keen eye for detail.

o Track record of producing quality work.

o Health & Safety Awareness - Adhering to Risk Assessments & Method Statements

o Qualifications - CSCS, First Aid Trained (SSSTS or SMSTS Desirable but not essential).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 21.25-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

What is your day rate expectation? We are an interiors/ refurbishment & fit-out main contractor and as a working foreman your time ''on the tools'' can vary. Larger jobs less on the tools is required, and smaller schemes slightly more time on the tools is required. Are you happy with this? 80% of our projects are located in London. Are you willing to travel to and from London? (you will need to be able to drive to our yard in Rochester or Gravesend from time to time. Company Van will be provided.) This role requires a carpentry or general building background. Do you have at least 5 years experience of either trade?
