Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working foreman to oversee and coordinate daily operations on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to managing a team. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Experience in water and WWTW is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of workers, ensuring tasks are performed effectively and efficiently. Coordinate daily work schedules and allocate resources as necessary to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders regarding progress and any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents on-site. Assist in resolving conflicts or challenges within the team to maintain productivity.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and management. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the construction or manufacturing industry. Ability to motivate a team and foster collaboration among diverse individuals. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges as they arise.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 18.00-26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
