As a Workshop Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, helping to ensure pumps are dismantled, repaired, tested, and prepared to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role offering the chance to develop valuable skills and build a career within a leading engineering business.
Responsibilities
Assist engineers with dismantling, cleaning, assembling, and testing pumps.
Assisting Mechanical Engineers on various sites.
Prepare and organise tools, parts, and materials for workshop jobs.
Carry out basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment.
Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Practical, hands-on approach with strong mechanical aptitude.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail and pride in quality work.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Previous workshop or engineering experience is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.
Clean Driving License
