Overview of Role



This hands-on role involves the manufacturing and testing electric vehicles to ensure top-tier performance and reliability. This is a full-time position based at Munro Vehicles' facility in East Kilbride, offering the opportunity to work at the forefront of electric vehicle innovation.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are confident using mechanical tools. Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations teams to integrate new designs and technologies into the Munro Vehicles build process, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop. Strong technical skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and clear communication are essential. You will contribute to a positive, safety-focused culture and help shape Munro's reputation for quality and reliability. Occasional travel to supplier or customer sites may be required to support delivery or service activities.

Responsibilities



Assembly & Testing:



Reading and understanding assembly drawings and instructions. Verifying dimensions and specifications. Ensuring all required parts for assembly are present and pre-build checklists are completed. Fit and test components for full functionality

Quality & Safety:



Ensure quality control standards are met. Provide updates towards Munro's production schedule and provide updates when required. Adhere to workshop safety protocols.

Requirements:



Proficiency in operating workshop handheld tools. Good dexterity. Attention to detail. Good organisational and communication skills. An exceptional eye for detail and quality of workmanship. Good understanding of 'Safe working Practice' in a workshop environment.

Pay: 26,436.00-29,120.00 per year
