Workshop Assistant - 27,000 per year

Location: Woodside Farm, Stamford Road, Welford, NN6 6HG

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: 27,000 per year (with full training provided)

The Role

We're looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our friendly manufacturing team. You'll work alongside skilled joiners and framers, helping to cut, prepare, and assemble timber sections ready for delivery and installation.

This is a hands-on, physical role where attention to detail and a good work ethic really matter.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with timber cutting, framing, and general workshop production

Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and well-stocked

Loading and unloading materials

Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

Learning to use various woodworking tools and machines (bandsaw, radial arm saw, etc.)

About You

Hands-on, practical, and willing to learn new skills

Good attention to detail and takes pride in your work

Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player

Previous experience in a workshop or construction environment is helpful but not essential -- full training is provided
