We are a locally, family owned, Precision Engineering Company based in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham. We specialise in the design and manufacture of pressure related components for the Oil & Gas Industry

Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Workshop / Factory Assistant.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are assembled, packaged, and prepared for distribution. This position requires a commitment to quality and safety while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Carry out inspection of machined components. Setting and operating of CNC Engraver and Laser Etcher. Assemble products or components with precision and attention to detail. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain Raw Material Storage Racks in an orderly fashion. Identify Raw Material using our Unique ID coding. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and production standards. Assist the Workshop Director with any adhoc tasks as and when required

Experience



Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with co-workers. Strong attention to detail and commitment in producing high-quality work. Basic understanding of machinery operation is a plus. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs. Salary is negotiable depending on prior experience. Overtime is available as and when required

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
