Work base: Blackmarsh Road, Mochdre
We are looking for a reliable and customer focused Workshop Administrative Assistant to join our Fleet Services Team based at our local council garage at Blackmarsh Road, Mochdre. You will be the first point of contact for staff requiring vehicle servicing, repairs and information.
This is a key administrative and customer service role helping ensure our vehicle and plant maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
Welcome visitors and staff to the garage reception
Schedule vehicle servicing, MOTs and repairs using internal systems
Maintain accurate recording of bookings and vehicle statuses
Liaise with workshop staff to ensure timely communication and updates
Handle phone and email enquiries professionally
Process job cards, official orders and invoices
We're looking for someone who:
Has excellent customer service and communication skills
Is organised with good attention to detail
Can use systems confidently
Has a helpful, can-do attitude
Works well under pressure and as part of a team
Has experience in administration or a vehicles services environment
