Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced hands-on workshop foreman to oversee and manage our team based in our on-site workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Workshop Foreman will play a crucial role in supervising daily operations, coordinating tasks, and fostering a positive work environment.

Duties



Supervise and manage a team of workers, ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively and safely. Coordinate daily activities and allocate resources to meet project deadlines. Monitor work progress and guide team members as needed. Booking in/out of work orders, ensuring all invoices are passed to the accounts department. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Conduct regular inspections of work to maintain quality control. Facilitate communication between management and team members to ensure clarity of objectives. Assist in training new employees and promoting best practices within the team. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, experience with an ERP system would be an advantage; full training will be given.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry. Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels. Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure. Pay: 28,321.73-42,000.00 per year
